Pupil Support
Our House system is based on the pastoral care of our students as well as focussing on progress, behaviour, attendance and homework. It allows the school, within available resources, to respond to individual needs and support particular aptitudes and talents. It gives each student opportunities to exercise responsible personal choice as they move through their school career. The Pupil Support Team provide necessary safeguards to ensure that choices are soundly based and lead to successful outcomes.
There are three Houses; Cademuir, Dunrig and Meldon with each House comprising a Head of House, Principal Teachers and Form Tutors. The first point of contact for parents with concern regarding any aspect of school life is the appropriate Principal Teacher from the Pupil Support Team.
Students with additional learning needs receive support from our experienced Support Team to ensure they can maximise their potential in the learning environment best suited to their individual requirements.
