Project: International Exhibition of Cultures

Aims:
 To increase students’ awareness and experience of opportunities in the world of public relations, art, culture and government diplomatic services.
 To develop enterprise skills of decision making, identifying possibilities, taking responsibility, working with others and problem solving.

Programme:

Stage 1 June       Challenge is set: plan, prepare and organise an exhibition of the culture of one of the following countries: Germany, Italy, Spain, Ukraine, Japan, France.
6 groups of 5 students formed and allied to a country each with a consul as consultant

November       Group presentation of preparations for exhibition given at conference (prepared by S3 – Cardrona Challenge).

Stage 2
November - June         Groups continue planning and preparing for the exhibition.

September Pupils host exhibition in Eastgate Theatre as a one day event in the Peebles Arts Festival.
