Welcome to the Home Economics Department

The Home Economics Department can be found in the Millennium Wing of Peebles High School.  The department comprises of 3 Food Technology and 2 Textile Technology rooms.  The Food Technology rooms are equipped to accommodate 20 pupils and contain 10 cookers, 10 sinks and 5 microwaves.  The Textile Technology rooms are also well equipped with a variety of sewing machines including embroidery and overlockers.

The Home Economics Department also has ample storage for equipment, resources and food.

Fashion and Textile Technology (FTT)


Health and Food Technology (HFT)

Hospitality

FTT and HFT are offered at Access 3, Intermediate 1, Intermediate 2 and Higher.

Hospitality is offered at Intermediate 2 only.
