Instrumental Instruction

INSTRUMENTAL INSTRUCTION

Instrumental lessons are offered on the following instruments:

GUITAR
VIOLIN
VIOLA
CELLO
DOUBLE BASS
FLUTE
OBOE
CLARINET
BASSOON
SAXOPHONE
PERCUSSION
RECORDER

The annual intake for these is confined to S1 unless a new pupil arrives in the school having previous instruction elsewhere. All S1 classes are given information about instruction in August. Entry is by audition to determine potential.

All pupils who take instrumental instruction are required to participate in extra curricular musical activities
