Art, by its very nature, is involved with emotions, feelings and an inquisitive response to the world around us. It is impossible to imagine a world without colour, uninfluenced, unshaped or enhanced by human hand.  Visual awareness is one of the most important factors in the learning process and engagement in a range of stimulating art activities plays an important part in the general development and education of the child.  Our aim is to encourage and foster the pupil's natural reaction to our environment and to develop a healthy, creative and imaginative awareness of the visual world.
