The parent forum consists of all parents and carers of children in the school and defined assuch in the legislation. However, PHS has used the term specifically to mean sessions organised by the previous school board and now the PC to which all parents are invited to discuss particular issues - we tend to have 4 of these a year and address subjects such as concerns of parents new to the school with children starting in S1, and the recent consultation on Transforming Childrens Services.
