School Holiday Dates 2009/10 and 2010/11

 

Please be aware that following a recent consultation conducted by Scottish Borders Council, holiday dates for sessions 2009/10 and 2010/11 are yet to be confirmed. However, a broad outline of dates is available by following the link below

The principal changes proposed include a St Andrew's Day holiday. If agreed this will result in a slightly longer summer term. The second principal change a weeks holiday for pupils, in February. This will not be a weeks holiday for staff!

 

Five in-service dates are likely to remain close to those allocated in previous years. Traditionally this has been one in August, two in November, one in February and one in May.

 

One casual holiday will also need to be determined by the School following consultation with our associated primary schools. Traditionally this has been the Friday before the October break.
